Introducing Wakefield District VCSE Collaborative

Nova Wakefield District have announced the new Wakefield District VCSE (voluntary, community or social enterprise) Collaborative. The Collaborative will be a strategic group that brings together senior leaders across the VCSE and statutory sectors, to work towards our common goals of supporting local people. It replaces the Third Sector Strategy Group and has a renewed purpose to:

• Develop, implement and monitor a new VCSE Strategy for the district
• Have strategic oversight of the Third Sector Framework, the transparent way of funding VCSE organisations across the district
• Ensure the VCSE sector is represented and integrated into Wakefield partnerships, and provide a route of escalation for VCSE networks
