Help improve perinatal pelvic health services
The West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership wants to hear from local people who are pregnant, have given birth, and who have had experience of pelvic health issues during, or after, pregnancy.
The results of a perinatal pelvic health survey will be used to understand what we are doing right and how we can improve. The feedback will be used to help develop a new perinatal pelvic health service that will be beginning in Spring 2025.
Pelvic health problems may include leaking urine (pee) and / or stool (poo), prolapse (bulging or swelling), injuries and infection in the area between the vagina and anus, pelvic girdle pain (pain in the pelvic area and / or back), and abdominal rectus diastasis (tummy muscle separation).
If you’ve used perinatal pelvic health services, please share your experience to help shape better care for others. Your feedback will help improve how services support people with these conditions, including preventing and treating them.
The survey is available online.
If you need any help filling in this survey, would like it in an alternative format, or have any questions, you can email us at wyicb.wycommsand.involvement@nhs.net or call 01924 317 659.
